When it comes to charity and lending their names to social causes, many Bollywood celebrities have come out in support and have given their fair share at fund raising campaigns and donations. While Salman Khan’s contribution towards the social causes (through ‘Being Human’) and ‘impromptu help’ is very well known, it seems that yet another superstar, Akshay Kumar has adopted a different route.  Akshay will now be seen auctioning his personal items (like his wardrobe and personal accessories) in order to raise funds for a NGO that has been working for the benefit of orphan children. He will be doing so on the yet-to-be-launched home- shopping channel named ‘Best Deals TV’.  Speaking about the same, Raj Kundra (who owns the channel alongwith his wife Shilpa Shetty, Akshay and Sonakshi Sinha), said that Akshay’s initiative will be taking off on the channel during April. He added that, if they get a favourable response, then, they will try and incorporate new things for auction every month. In addition to that, they are also planning to bring in the personalised merchandise of celebrities.
