Getting Better takes us into the corridors, wards and operation theatres of the King Edward Memorial Hospital in central Mumbai, one of the best-known public hospitals in the region and therefore one of the most overstretched. The statistics recounted during the 79-minute documentary tell you why KEM matters, and why it will always resemble a war zone. Every day, it attends to 230 in-patients, 5,800 outpatients and performs 150 surgeries.
