Chefs at Indian Nights, in London Road, will be cooking up a three-course meal for a different charity on the first Thursday each month with a raffle and live entertainment also being provided.
Kicking off on February 6, the first fundraiser will be for elderly care charity Age UK Essex with restaurant owner Azad Ali saying he is looking forward to helping.
Mr Ali said: “At Indian Night we have received such fantastic support from the people of Chelmsford and beyond, and we want to get involved in the community, we want to make a difference in whatever way we can.
“These dinners will hopefully raise enough money to improve the lives of some people who are in need of support in our area.”
Tickets for the meals will cost £24.95 with £10 from each sold plus proceeds from the raffle going to charity.
Last year the restaurant picked up the Curry Life magazine Curry Chef of the Year award just months after opening.
