A report released by Child Rights and You (CRY) also dwells on the pitiful state of children in the country.
The report also points out that the national dropout rate on the elementary level is 40% inspite of right to education.

On account of Children’s Day, CRY launched a nationwide campaign called “Vote for Child Rights” campaign. It also got covers off the Child Rights Manifesto which calls for all of the political parties and voters to assign top priority to children with a view to improve their plight.
