Partnership and Investment Proposal
Investment Opportunity: We are seeking a strategic partner, equity stakeholder in The Daily Eye for an investment of Rs 25 crores.
Purpose of Investment: The investment of Rs. 25 crores will be utilised in the following ways:
- Expanding The Daily Eye readership base through subscription offers and rebuilding the platform and coordinated channels – Rs. 1 crore
- Establishment of Bombil International Film Festival for Independent and Documentary Filmmakers – Rs. 2.5 crores
- Establishment of Elevate Awards for Excellence in Cinema, Web Series and Television – 2.5 crores
- Creation of Corpus of Rs. 10 crores for sustained growth and development and expansion of The Daily Eye
- Return of Rs. 5 crores to investment made by owner amounting to 50% of equity shareholding.
- Commissions and expenses to formulate and close the partnership/deal – Rs. 4 crores
Recovery Plan: Our strategy aims to recover the investment over a three-year period through diversified revenue streams including:
- In-Magazine Sponsorships: Attracting premium sponsors for prominent placement of their campaigns in our publication.

Launching her career in the mid-1980s, she has collaborated with prominent directors and significantly impacted Indian media as a director, producer, and writer. Vinata edits and publishes The Daily Eye, an influential online magazine at the intersection of culture, cinema, and politics.
With a robust background in content strategy and ideation, Vinata has also spearheaded various social initiatives through media. She has held key positions on the executive committee of the Producer’s Guild of India and the Indian Film and Television Director’s Association (IFTDA) and continues to be an active member of IFTDA and the Screen Writers Association.
