Blackout Music & Film Festival Brings Socially Conscious Entertainment To GRAMMY Museum
by The Daily Eye Team August 24 2015, 8:00 pm Estimated Reading Time: 0 mins, 24 secsThere aren’t many positive things you can say about injustice, but it can inspire creative expression. The inaugural Blackout Music & Film Festival intends to showcase a good deal of that. Scheduled from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at the GRAMMY Museum in L.A. Live downtown, the event will feature movie screenings, live music, panel discussions and visual art displays that its backers say will celebrate storytelling with a social justice angle.
