Everybody has that one Disney movie that makes their heart skip a beat at the mere mention of its name, the one that transports them back to the theatre where they first saw it. In fact, we all had the chance to watch the best animated movies and cartoons on TV that weren't just entertaining but also taught us a great deal about life. The new teaser trailer of Disney's live-action remake of The Lion King was released and it lives up to the expectations of every 90s' kid. The trailer has all the main characters of the classic 1994 animated movie including Mufasa, Rafiki and Simba. The trailer generated 224.6 million global views in 24 hours, according to Disney studios, coming in second to the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, which attracted 238 million views, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

The film is being produced by Walt Disney pictures and shall be helmed by Iron Man and The Jungle Book director, Jon Favreau. The photorealistic, computer animated movie promises to be hell lot of fun with prominent actors lending their voice to your favourite characters. The voice cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, the crown prince of the Pride Lands and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, Simba's childhood best friend and future love-interest. There is JD McCrary as young Simba and Shahadi Wright Joseph as young Nala.

James Earl Jones as Mufasa, the king of the Pride Lands and the father of Simba. Jones reprises his role from the original 1994 animated film. Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, the treacherous brother of Mufasa and the uncle of Simba who seeks to take the mantle of the king. Billy Eichner as Timon, a wise-cracking and loyal meerkat and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, a naive common warthog, who befriend and adopt a young Simba after he runs away from home.

John Oliver as Zazu, a hornbill who is the advisor to the King of the Pride Lands. John Kani as Rafiki, a wise mandrill who serves as the shaman of the Pride Lands and a close friend of Mufasa's. Florence Kasumba as Shenzi, the lead hyena of the trio, Scar's henchmen. Eric Andre as Azizi, a member of Scar's trio. This character replaces Banzai from the original 1994 animated film. Keegan-Michael Key as Kamari, an unhinged hysterical hyena who laughs a lot and is part of Scar's henchmen. This  character replaces Ed from the original 1994 animated film. Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, Mufasa's mate, the mother of Simba, and queen of the Pride Lands. Amy Sedaris as an elephant shrew.

The trailer screens out Rafiki presenting a young Simba to the animals of the Pride Lands, with the classic shot of Simba being hoisted up in the air. The trailer features the famous 'circle of life' song and the classic scene will make millenials nostalgic.

The Walt Disney has announced the movie is set to be released in the summer of 2019. If you grew up watching these Disney movies, trust me you had the best childhood ever!
