On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Utsav, Cosmic Heart Gallery proudly presents an exclusive exhibition titled Dew Drops of Wisdom – Ganesha, showcasing five extraordinary masterpieces by the renowned Indian spiritual artist, Prof. Dr. Udayraj A. Gadnis. Commencing on the 7th of September, this exhibition marks a milestone in the gallery’s 12-year journey, dedicated to the intersection of art, spirituality, and culture. Located in the vibrant heart of South Bombay, Cosmic Heart Gallery—founded by Jalpa H Vithalani—has become a space where creativity and spirituality merge, providing transformative experiences for visitors.

The opening ceremony was graced by distinguished guests Shree Rajaram Mahadev Deshmukh, Trustee of the Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, and Indira Vithalani, the founder’s mother. Together, they inaugurated the exhibition by lighting a ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the spiritual aura that would follow. The gallery's magnetic atmosphere heightened the experience for attendees, amplifying the divine energy embodied in the art.

The Spiritual Legacy of Dr. Udayraj Gadnis

With a career spanning more than three decades, Dr. Udayraj Gadnis’s work is celebrated for its deep integration of ancient spiritual texts and philosophies—from the Vedas and Upanishads to Sufism and Zen. His oeuvre has earned him prestigious titles such as The Prince of Indian Contemporary Art and The Sage of Indian Contemporary Art.

Dr. Gadnis's prolific artistic journey includes over 3,000 paintings and 34 solo exhibitions worldwide. His most recent showcases include The Durgasaptashati at Nehru Centre, Mumbai (2024), Suryakal at the Bihar Museum Biennale (2023), and Devi in England (2023). Additionally, his lifetime contributions to art and the humanities were honoured with an honorary Ph.D. from Sanskriti University, India, awarded by former President Ram Nath Kovind.

Each of the five masterpieces in this exhibition encapsulates the spiritual essence of Ganesha, known as the remover of obstacles and the harbinger of wisdom. Through his unique use of vibrant, abstract forms, Dr. Gadnis's works transcend mere visual appeal, acting as meditative portals inviting viewers to contemplate the divine attributes of Ganesha. As he states: “Masterpieces do not come in dozens.” This philosophy is reflected in each painting, with every stroke meticulously crafted to invoke Ganesha's blessings and wisdom.
