India News hosts the Gaurav Awards in Chhattisgarh

Dr Singh was the chief guest at the elaborate event attended by political leaders, ministers from the state government, members from the opposition, bureaucrats, economists, leading journalists, corporates and esteemed members of the civil society.
The event, held at the Marriott Hotel, Raipur, showcased multiple panel discussions on several key issues including Law and Order, Naxalism, Development and Infrastructure (with emphasis on tribal development), Loans and Foreign Investment for the state and Women Welfare, among others. Special sessions were dedicated to understanding if Naxalism in Chhattisgarh is on its last legs and to laying out a blueprint for the future of Chhattisgarh.

Another highlight of the event was the India News Chhattisgarh – Gaurav Awards, given to bring the spotlight on high-calibre individuals from the state, known for creating extraordinary success stories and inspiring the state, and the nation at large, through their exemplary work. Chief Minister Raman Singh along with iTV Founder and Promoter Kartikeya Sharma and India News Editor-in-Chief Deepak Chaurasia honoured people working in various fields including Excellence in Business Growth, Excellence in Business, Excellence in Multi Business, Excellence in Healthcare, Excellence Social Service, Excellence in Entertainment, Excellence in Social Service and Lifetime Achievement Award.
