GermanWatch and Climate Action Network Europe have downgraded Australia to number 57 out of 61 countries in their latest list on Climate Change Performance.

These specialized bodies have ranked countries based on five factors which comprise of type of emissions, levels of emissions, supply of renewable energy, energy and emission policy and controls.
