Matheran Hill Railway: This historic narrow-gauge railway takes you on a picturesque journey up the hill to Matheran. It's a slow but enjoyable ride, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The toy train operates at specific times, so it's advisable to check the schedule beforehand.

Taxi/Horseback: Alternatively, you can take a taxi or a horseback ride from Neral to Matheran. The road is steep and winding, so it's best to hire a vehicle or a horse for the ascent if you prefer this option.

By Road: If you prefer to drive, you can reach Dasturi Naka, which is the entry point to Matheran for vehicles. From there, you need to park your car and either walk, take a horse ride, or hire a hand-pulled rickshaw to reach Matheran town. The road from Neral to Dasturi Naka is narrow and steep, so it's advisable to be cautious while driving.
